Conferences

Good community development depends on good relationships.  Staff, volunteers and community
members.  We all have our own personalities, needs, expectations and ways of doing things.  So working with people requires good skills in communication working with different people in different ways.  At Connecting Communities: Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania conference 2017,  we’re looking to provide  practical skills to help you connect with communities positively and
proactively in a variety of ways. We hope you’ll join us.

5 in 10 Presentations

5 slides in 10 minutes.  Staff, members and volunteers in Neighbourhood Houses are doing fantastic things across Tasmania!  It’s important that we share the great stories, success and failures that we have, so others can adapt projects to suit their local communities, and to avoid reinventing wheels.  You have a lot of skills and experience, so why not share it?

Download information and application docs here.

Sponsorship

The NHT conference is a vitally important event in the year for staff and volunteers in Houses.  It’s the one time we all come together, to re-energise and get inspired.  Our conferences are not possible without the generous support of our Sponsors.  Please consider supporting us, by viewing the sponsorship package 2017 here
