We made it!  Our amazing staff and volunteers reconnected with each other and their government and community sector colleagues, while being inspired and energized to carry on the work for another year.

Many thanks to our excellent speakers, to our sponsors and supporters, to the caterers and hosts – George Town Council and George Town Neighbourhood House – for a fantastic few days.

5 in 10 Presentations

5 slides in 10 minutes.  Staff, members and volunteers in Neighbourhood Houses are doing fantastic things across Tasmania!  It’s important that we share the great stories, success and failures that we have, so others can adapt projects to suit their local communities, and to avoid reinventing wheels.  You have a lot of skills and experience, so why not share it?
(please note, these sessions are for programs and activities delivered in Houses or by House staff and volunteers.)

Download information and application docs here.

There are a variety of accommodation options in Georgetown and surrounds.  Below is a list of some accommodation options provided by the Tamar Valley Tourism, along with some websites for searching.  Some providers on the first list have offered discounts to people attending the conference, so please mention that you are attending the Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania conference and ask for a discount.
