Grassroots Mental Health

Neighbourhood Houses Tasmania has partnered with Wellways to deliver a Grassroots approach to Mental Health through Neighbourhood Houses.  This project is aimed at helping people to increase their understanding of how to maintain good mental health, to understand mental illness and reduce stigma for people experiencing mental illness.

Wellways has two part-time project workers, Kelly Madden in the South and Allan Johnson in the North and Northwest, who are coordinating activities in participating Neighbourhood Houses.
