Welcome to the new website for Neighbourhood Houses

We're excited to finally announce the launch of a fresh, revitalised and simplified website for the Network of Neighbourhood Houses.  The website compliments the recent publication of the Handbook for Neighbourhood House boards, the Strategic Framework, and a set of new governance videos, also being launched today.

The website continues to offer the same information primarily for managers, board members, other staff and volunteers. It continues to be a useful portal to find out what else is going on in the Network of Neighbourhood Houses across Tasmania.

The new website provides up to date access for our Network of Neighbourhood Houses, other community organisations, Government Departments and the general community to the various resources of NHT. The site will enable users to locate their local Neighbourhood House, read up on the latest news and events, access sample documents and policies, book the NHT Training Room and source community development, governance and other research materials. The new streamlined look of the website makes finding the information you require a simple process with a number of intuitive search functions available.TACF logo

The new website was possible thanks to the efforts of the NHT team and a grant from the Tasmanian Community Fund. The end result is the culmination of a lot of hard work from the NHT staff and our Web Designer, Kit Whyte of Aeski Design & Development.
